The ASIAD Food Map

Guangzhou will open 14 food centers in its 12 districts and county-level cities to offer different cuisine to ASIAD guests. Except for the Food Expo in Tianhe District and the Taigu Binshui Food Center in Haizhu District, all food centers are currently ready for guests.

Yuexiu District:

Huifu Gourmet Street---local cuisine + Southeast Asian cuisine

Numerous food outlets line the 200-meter-long street, offering Taiwanese sticky candy, Indonesian Menglembu peanuts and GZ Zhuang Yuan Fang souvenirs. Totaling over 50, most of the street’s restaurants are affordable and accessible to everyone.

Liwan District:

Guangzhou Food Center--- Xiguan Style

Located beside Liwan Lake, Guangzhou Food Center is on Pantang Lu, where all of its shops are decorated in the authoritative Xiguan Style.

20 time-honored brands are represented and the GZ Souvenir Street inside the park is sure to satisfy visitor needs.

Shamian Food District--- Western food

Shamian Island concentrates worldwide cuisines from Eastern to Western. Among them, names as such Tao Ran Ju, Qiao Mei, the Locomotive French restaurant, the Italian restaurant, the Rose Garden Club, Lan Kwai Fong and COW AND BRIDGE Thai are most popular.

At Shamian, visitors can enjoy delicacies among European style architecture and scenery.

Tianhe District:

Tiyu Dong Food Street--- Business dining mainly

Most of the restaurants here hide among office buildings and provide service to white collar workers, who use the area as their “exclusive dining room”. The restaurants mainly offer Cantonese and exotic food. Some Sichuan and Hunan restaurants are also available.

Huangpu District:

Fengle Bei Food District & Luogang Food District --- Chinese cuisine

The Chinese restaurants here have been rebuilt into arcaded architecture, as well other traditional styles. All kinds of Chinese cuisine is available.

Conghua City:

Conghua Food Street--- Fresh farm food

Along the 3800-meter-long Liuxi River there are over 50 restaurants to choose from, which offer fresh farm produce. The local government is promoting ecological tourism, and visitors can enjoy the natural scenery and local entertainment facilities here - including the hot springs.

Panyu District:

Panyu Dadao Food District---Seafood

Panyu Dadao Food District is located near Chimelong Park. Seafood is recommended here. Famous restaurants include Chimelong Hotel, Si Hai Yi Jia, Cheng Ji seafood restaurant, etc.

Baiyun District:

Baiyun Dadao Food Street

Baiyun Dadao Food Street offers over 20 restaurants, ranging from luxurious brands like Tang Yuan and Jin Hua An to ordinary brands like Xiang Yu Lou. Parking is convenient.

Nansha District:

Shijiu Chong Seafood Street

Restaurants here mainly serve fresh seafood. Visitors can buy seafood from local fishermen and have it cooked in the restaurants nearby.

Visitors can also take a voyage on luxurious yachts and taste the delicacies on board.

Huadu District:

Xi Li Deng Food Street

Restaurants here are built into quadrangles which are widely seen in Beijing city. Medium and top grade restaurants thrive here, offering different cuisine from all over the world.
