From April 15 to 28, The Westin Abu Dhabi and The Westin Guangzhou bring your senses and taste buds on a journey of sophisticated Arabic Cuisine. The cuisines from the Arabian Peninsula bring warmth, hospitality and generosity. Similar to the Chinese philosophy of sharing a meal with friends or family, Arabian meals centre on sharing a variety of dishes. An entertaining dinner is all about sharing candid conversation and laughter over a heart-warming feast. Salads and mezze accompany as side dishes to the main. Seasoned chicken & lamb cooked gently over charcoal, complemented by rice, lentils and flat bread. Desserts finished with saffron, cinnamon and nuts give a wonderful texture and balance to finish the dining experience, served with black tea, fruit juices; Persian influences underly the cuisine of Arabia.
The guest chef, Arabic Sous Chef Sameh Benyan, has nearly 10 years culinary experience. Representing the Agdir Moroccan venue, he won the 2012 Best in Abu Dhabi Fine Dining Restaurant award with a menu inspired by the mystery and allure of the Arabian Nights.
