New Year Brings New Choices of Steak at Ritz Carlton, Guangzhou

In 2011, the Ritz Carlton, Guangzhou presents a wider selection of steaks for buffet dinners at FOODS restaurant every Thursday.

If you are a steak enthusiast, the chief chef Ong Kian Tiong of FOODS recommends "Prime Rib," the restaurant's newly created dish. He explained they only selected Australian steaks between the 6th and the 8th rib to get a perfect balance in lean meat and fat. Before cooking, it has been tenderized for over 250 days at constant temperature and then takes 2.5 hours to grill at 85℃.

Another recommendation made by French chef Szurek Raphael is the "Rossini Fillet With Truffe and Foie Gras." It is named after the 19th century European musician G. Rossini.
